David R. "Skip" Wade
President

Founder and president of Wade Construction Group, Inc., David R. "Skip" Wade, is a second-generation building professional. He has been involved in the construction industry since 1981 when he started as an assistant superintendant for Duke-Wade & Associates. He became VP of Construction for Duke-Wade & Associates in 1984. They completed numerous projects during the 1980's including over 5,000 apartment units and several office warehouse and mini warehouse projects.

In the early 90's, he was the senior project manager for Duke, Inc. He completed several luxury infill multifamily projects in DFW area. In 1995, he joined AMLI Residential Property Trust, a Real Estate Investment Trust based in Chicago. He was Director of Construction operations in Texas, and was involved in the development and construction of over 2,000 multifamily units valued at approximately $150,000,000.

He joined Phoenix Property Company in May of 1998 as VP of Construction. He was involved in the development and construction of several mixed-use projects nationwide. Mr. Wade left the company in early 2008 to form his own construction firm. He retained the trust and confidence of Phoenix Property Company's owner and partners and continues to provide construction services for them.

Mr. Wade holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He has served on numerous church and civic committees and sits on the board of directors, currently as Chairman, for the Home and Apartment Builders Association Multifamily Builders Council. He has been married to his wife, Jill, for 30 years and they have two sons, Kevin and Eric. He attained his pilot's license at the age of 18 and uses his airplane for both business purposes and charitable mission work in the United States and Mexico.
